Abstract Steampunk Fish Watercolor Paintings - original work
These ascended from my obsession with Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea as well as diving. I wondered what the Nautilus would translate as if it was a fish. Yes, I’m weird.
Each one measures 9×12” and has been UV coated.
My process for these is first drawing the piece then painting it. Once it’s dry, I then re-ink the entire work and hit it with the UV coating. As you can imagine, it takes some time! I’ve provided different shots in varied lighting so you can see the pop of this pigment.
